Text - SMS Status

When I look in Message Center the log for SMS - Text messaging shows some of the messages are "Waiting", why is that?

This could happen for a couple of reasons.  
#1 - The field that SMS/Text message goes to is the contacts "Mobile" number.  So check to make sure that the mobile number
field is filled out properly and that it is actually a mobile number.

#2 - Subscriptions
If you go to a contact (prospect, student, etc) and click the "Edit Student" or "Edit Prospect" button (under top navigation bar, to the left hand side) and scroll down to subscriptions.  You will notice the ability to turn on and turn off certain funcitions like SMS , mailing "mailed newsletters" and even "email newsletters"
