How to Add Members as Family When They All Have Profiles in RainMaker
A family membership in RainMaker means that one member will be chosen by you to be the contract holder. Their program will charge one lump sum for the entire family and any family member that is attached to the contract holder will share that program.
The information below will show you how to attach family members that already have a profile in RainMaker.
1. Choose who you want to be the contract holder. Got to their profile page. Add a program to them if they do not already have one.
2. On the contract holders profile page, scroll down to the tab section that says family. Click add family at the top. Choose option 3 to search for contacts already in RainMaker. Enter their name to search and select the member to attach as family. Repeat this step until all family members have been added.
3. On the contract holders profile page, scroll down to the left and click edit on their program info financial box. Make sure the financials are all set to charge a one lump sum payment that will include all family members associated.
WARNING: Before you add members as family, check to make sure they do not already have their own program. If they do, click edit on their program info financial box and change number of payments remaining to 0 so it will not charge. You will only want it to charge if you want that program and the family program to charge 2 different amounts.
