How EFT Processing Works via **BEANSTREAM**

EFT transactions cannot be processed manually in Rainmaker. They cannot be processed manually, because with Beanstream EFTs are processed a little different than a credit card.

The way EFT transactions are processed via Beanstream is a batch file upload, which is for autoCollect only. How it works is we send the EFT batch file to Beanstream 2 days before the debit days in Rainmaker. Debit days are the 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, and 25th.

For example, if you have a member that is due on the 15th, the batch file is uploaded on the 13th.

So if you go to manually process your EFTs and you receive a decline message of "Declined:card type not accepted", take the student OffHold and the transaction will be processed on the next autoCollect debit day.
